Max & Carlota Premiere

Updated on July 1, 2020 by Mary Bowen

We had a very successful Max & Carlota LIVE premiere with 470 views and $1280 raised! 20% was shared with the cast and the rest  helped fund our next film, Grisly Grisell. You can support our current productions by paying it forward here. The movie was directed, written and performed by Catholic children for Catholic children and children at heart.

If you missed the LIVE Max & Carlota premiere or want to reminisce, Mary has edited an event video:

Fr. Curtis kicked off the conference. His speech was filled with thought provoking insight in three areas of entertainment: music, literature, and movies. He concluded with a call to support Catholic filmmakers.

Father was followed by Anne Carroll who addressed "A New Spring Time In The Church? Lessons From History". She painted some very bleak eras in history followed by glorious Springtimes. Her speech was inspiring and motivating filled with hope and concluded with the premise that homeschoolers will bring the New Springtime much needed after this long and hard wintertime. Mrs. Carroll almost left us speechless as you can tell when watching our follow-up commentary. What an honor to have her participate!

Jim Morlino closed the conference by congratulating the cast and encouraging us to continue telling good stories and celebrating virtue.

The main event, the first viewing of Max & Carlota,  was highly acclaimed. One viewer on YouTube commented:

Enjoyed the movie. I wasn't ready for it to end! I felt the acting was good. Cheers to all of you! Keep up the good work.

I'd like to thank everyone who joined us during the premiere! All the stress and stage freght was nothing compared to the joy we felt in sharing this very special evening with you.
