When George refuses to renounce his Catholic faith, tension rises, leading to a battle of wills. Set against the backdrop of post-Protestant Revolt Scotland, this story is filled with bravery, sword fights, and the struggle to preserve the True Faith.
A Catholic Adventure Rooted in History
Outlaws of Ravenhurst is set in 1641 Scotland, just after the Protestant Revolt, when faithful Catholic families were being hunted and outlawed all in an effort to pressure them to abandon their Faith. The film tells the story of George Abell, a boy raised quietly in colonial Maryland, who suddenly discovers that he is heir to a Scottish earldom—one that requires him to become Protestant.
George’s uncle attempts to force him to renounce the Catholic Faith. But the Ravenhurst clan—brave, outlawed, and secretly faithful—risk everything to help him remain true.
