How To Make A Video Using Adobe Part 3

Video Transcript: Here I have another video that I want to use to show you how to do some polishing and finishing touches in Adobe Pro. As you can see, I have fonts and texts and I have a poster and then I also have an opening screen.

I have the audio for the person who's speaking in the promo. I'm just going to show you how to finish this kind of the video starting with adjusting the volume.

A decibel that hits well on the human ear is -6.

So right now it's set to zero and I'm going to set all of the audio to -6. As you can see up here in the effects control panel I can type in -6 and it will just automatically set. You can also drag it with your mouse.

I'm also going to add some music to this clip. This is coming off the computer so I'm not going to copy the media. Otherwise I'll have two of the same audio track. I'm going to add it down here on the bottom which is going to be my music track.

As you can see, it's a little loud. I usually set these to be something like -20 or -30. I'll set to -25 just to see how it sounds. Just play with the music until you're not struggling to hear what's going on in your video and yet you can still enjoy the sound of the music.

Now I am going to review the film by watching it all run through just checking to make sure everything's smooth and that the visual is entertaining in the sense that everything rolls together well.

The music down here is a little bit too long I think since there's a fine end. It actually comes to a nice close so we're going to take the ending of the song and I'm going to just keep scooting it until it starts well and then bring it out here and then of course it will get a fade.

I'm going go up here to the effects panel and I'm going to get a constant gain in this case. I'm going to drop it here and then I'm going to take this part and I'm going to change it to be even lower than than -25 so that there's a strong opening and it's going to fade into something that's a little bit more subtle but you only notice that it's going to be drastically lower without the fade.

You are still straining to hear the audio so I'm going to turn the music down to -55.

The video kind of jumps straight into Faustina's face here so I'm going to put a video transition in the beginning so that it also fades. I'm going to just collapse  the audio transitions, grab a video transition like this cross fade and then drop it on this opening frame.

Continue to play with it to make sure it all looks nice and smooth. Get it just as perfect as possible. Keep playing with transitions, keep playing with the audio until it's perfect and then in the next video I'll show you how to export your finished video.
