Synopsis
When the sudden death of her father shatters her confidence in the pagan beliefs of imperial Rome, the proud noblewoman Fabiola begins searching for answers about life, death, and eternity. As the martyrdom of Saints Agnes and Sebastian transforms her heart, Fabiola must overcome her own pride and choose between the comforts of the world and the truth that could cost her everything.

About the Cast and Filmmakers
Emily Hawk joins the cast as Fabiola. Born in Italy and raised in Honolulu, Emily was homeschooled through her education and self-taught in acting until she started her degree in Theater at North Idaho College. With her background in theater, Emily brings both strength and complexity to her characters. Her portrayal of Fabiola, a woman torn between pride and inner conflict, captivated the team during auditions.
The Fabiola cast features talented young actor Kaleb McConner as Fulvius. Kaleb was born and raised in upstate New York. He studied acting throughout highschool and through numerous classes and workshops in Cortland, New York and Syracuse, New York. With six years of professional experience in film and theater, Kaleb’s dedication and enthusiasm for the role stood out during auditions, making him the perfect choice to bring Fulvius to life.
Joe McClane makes a special appearance in Fabiola as St. Hilarion. Joe McClane is a Catholic broadcaster, filmmaker, author, and speaker, and the host of A Catholic Take — heard live weekdays at 4pm Eastern on The Station of the Cross Catholic Media Network. A convert who came home to the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil of 1999, he has worked full time in Catholic evangelization since 2008, lighting a fire in hearts for Christ and His Church across the USA and overseas.
He and his wife Michelle have been married twenty-six years and homeschool their six children in the greater Houston, Texas area, where they are parishioners of Regina Caeli Catholic Church (FSSP).
Director Mary Bowen was born in Western Washington and brought up in Washington, Idaho, and California. As a homeschool graduate and self-taught filmmaker, Mary now lives with her family in North Central Idaho.
Her secret superpower is the ability to imagine a costume and complete it without ever looking at a pattern. She has been passionate about filmmaking for over a decade, premiering her first full-length film, Outlaws of Ravenhurst, in 2018.
Inspired by The War of the Vendée by Navis Pictures, Mary knew early on that she wanted to make movies. Following Outlaws and several other film projects, she premiered the first installment of End of the Santa Fe Trail in early 2026. Now, she looks forward to directing Fabiola, her first full-budget film.
Faustina Bowen was born and raised in the beautiful states of Washington, Idaho and California. She now lives in North Central Idaho, dedicating her time to Industrious Family Films. Faustina is a homeschool graduate who graduated from Our Lady of Victory Home School with High Honors.
As a self-taught filmmaker, Faustina has been writing and organizing scripts from the early age of fourteen. Her love for crocheting led her to making liturgical lace, which merited her an invitation to the first (FSSP) Traditional Ordination in Mexico since Vatican II. Although she has been writing scripts for over nine years, her love of acting is what drives her passion for filmmaking.
She has starred in many of Industrious Family's previous films and will act in Fabiola. Faustina oversees merchandising, funding, and our streaming service, Industrious Family Theater. She is also currently managing investments for Fabiola.
Born and raised in Western Washington State, Kathleen Bowen currently lives in North Central Idaho. She was homeschooled and is entirely self-taught. She has homeschooled her 10 children.
She, along with Mary and Faustina, built Industrious Family, LLC. As the chief financial advisor and producer, Kathleen oversees casting and production budgets alongside her husband, Matt. She also serves as the company’s website director and lead content writer. Kathleen picks up the slack in the production by doing Hair and Make-Up, catering, overseeing lighting, and ruling as queen of The Gofers.
